Company Background

Mark Howarth has more than 20 years experience providing computer support to PC users.

Eco PC Support Services is the trading name of Middlestown Computers.

Mark Howarth ran a computer store supplying and repairing computer equipment. Being the areas only EPSON approved service centre to the Wakefield area.

As more and more people purchased computers Mark realised that there was an overwhelming demand for computer support and tuition.

With this in mind the resources of the business were concentrated around providing affordable fast support to its customers.

With time it then became apparent that many miles where travelled by customers between their homes and the computer shop. As a result of this the business embarked on trying to find a more efficient and environmentally friendly way to provide computer support to its customers.

+ Advice on the Radio...

Mark Howarth also found time to provide advise to the local community free of charge by the medium of radio on Ridings FM. He used to provide advice to members of the public who called into the show, on a multitude of different computer based questions.

+ Reducing our Carbon footprint

After many months of research it was decided that the company would concentrate its efforts on providing initial support remotely, and to the surprise of many of its customers, it was possible to carry out most of its work, rectify the majority of the less critical faults and give guidance to newcomers to the computer, all remotely on line.
